Why We Like It

Choose between a five-course, prepaid tasting menu in The Studio, or a lounge-style setting (Clemente Bar) where you can order food and drink à la carte at this beautiful, intimate cocktail lounge perched atop Eleven Madison Park. It’s a collaboration between EMP chef-owner Daniel Humm and contemporary artist Francesco Clemente and, fittingly, it feels like you’re in an artist’s studio. Drinks come from EMP’s beverage director, Sebastian Tollius, so expect classics with a twist, like a Negroni piña colada hybrid. And the menu is fully plant-based: Think tempura fries and an agedashi tofu dog.

Clemente Bar contains two spaces: The Lounge and The Studio. The Lounge: We take reservations for The Lounge throughout the night, with walk-ins accommodated according to availability. Reservations for parties of 1-3 will have an enforced time limit of 1 hour and 45 minutes, and reservations for parties of 4 or more will have a time limit of 2 hour...

Clemente Bar is an intimate cocktail lounge and tasting counter perched above Eleven Madison Park, featuring world-class cocktails and refined, plant-based dishes. A collaboration with Chef Daniel Humm’s friend and renowned contemporary artist Francesco Clemente, the space is a true “artist’s living room” where guests are surrounded by site-specific works by Clemente. The interiors, also featuring pieces by LA-based furniture designer Brett Robinson and custom lamps by German artist, Carsten Höller, are a nod to the art-filled walls at Kronenhalle, Chef Humm’s favorite bar growing up in his home country of Switzerland.
