Why We Like It
You’ll likely have way too much fun with this menu from Top Chef contestant Jae Jung. It’s a mix of Korean and Cajun flavors (hence the name), with deviled eggs made with soy-marinated eggs and cracklin’, green tomato kimchi, and a superb gochujang and buttermilk marinated fried chicken. Oh, and don’t sleep on the seafood jjajangmyeon.

KJUN started as a COVID pop-up in Chef Jae Jung’s apartment kitchen. After a celebrated career in both NOLA and NYC, Jae began building KJUN with techniques and recipes developed over more than a decade working in fine-dining kitchens. This is KJUN’s first permanent location, opened in Fall 2022.
