Why We Like It
Cadence was one of the buzziest restaurants of the year when it opened in 2021 under the direction of chef Shenarri Freeman, and its legacy for soulful vegan comfort food continues now that chef Haley Duren is at the helm. The menu is a Southern-soul style feat with green chile mac in lager bechamel, sourdough biscuits with fennel mushroom gravy, and a wine list focusing on Black producers.
