Why We Like It
If the sherry and vermouth selection doesn’t get you, the traditional (and some slightly whimsical) Spanish dishes will. Think: gildas with spherical olives, foie gras on banana bread with jam, and grilled octopus with XO sauce. Yes, there’s Basque cheesecake, and we’re quite thankful for that.

About Urdaneta

Urdaneta offers traditional and modern tapas with a strong accent of Spain's Basque region. Chef Javier Canteras and team draw their inspiration from Javier's family recipes, his childhood and recent travels to Spain, combined with local ingredients of the Pacific Northwest. Our menu is complimented by a drinking list of Spanish wines, vermouth and sherry, as well as seasonal sangria and house cocktails. Our outdoor street seating is along bustling Alberta Street, and our indoor dining has a front row view of the open kitchen.
