Gialina is named after chef-owner Sharon Ardiana's grandmother, Nonni Lina. It is a tribute to her Italian family, who came from a town in Italy's culinary heartland of Emilia-Romagna. As seen in the family photos that line the restaurant's walls, Nonni liked to surround herself with food and family. The menu is built around what is fresh and seasonal (with the kitchen sourcing as much as they can from local farms Star Route, Mariquita & Martin B), consisting of fresh antipasti and salads, delicious thin-crust pizzas and a roast of the day
