Resy Pay Terms and Conditions

In addition to the Resy Terms of Service (the “Terms of Service”) and the Resy Privacy Policy, the following terms apply when you use the mobile payment services provided by Resy, and powered by Rooam, called Resy Pay (“Resy Pay”). Terms not defined here have the meanings provided in the Terms of Service.

Resy Pay allows you to pay for your order (the “Order”) at participating Restaurants with your mobile device. Participating Restaurants are subject to change at Resy’s discretion. If the Restaurant supports Resy Pay, there will be a QR code presented to you, either on the printed bill at the end of the meal, or through a QR code that is placed on the table and associated with that table. When you scan the QR code, you will be able to view your Order. You can then follow the instructions within Resy Pay to complete your payment. In some rare instances, Restaurants may have older printer technologies that cannot support a dynamic QR code specific to your meal and instead the Restaurant will present a static QR code. This static QR code will bring you to the Resy Pay experience, where you additionally need to input the Order number from your printed bill, presented at the end of the meal, to pay through Resy Pay.

If you do not already have a credit or debit card (“Payment Product”) on your Account that you want to use to pay for the Order, you can add a Payment Product directly into Resy Pay, which will be saved to your Account. If you have more than one Payment Product on your Account, you must select the Payment Product you want to use to pay for the Order. If you do not have an Account or do not log in to your Account through Resy Pay, you can add a Payment Product directly into Resy Pay, which will be used for a one-time use charge. Non-logged in users will need to include an email address if they want a receipt of the payment. Resy Pay also supports Apple Pay and Google Pay. Eligible American Express Card Members can also use Membership Rewards Pay with Points to pay for an Order. You can choose to split the Order with one or more members of your dining party by copying and texting the website link that is populated when you click the “Split the Check” button. The website link will initiate the Resy Pay experience for each recipient and enable them to complete their respective payments. If any portion of the Order is not paid or accounted for, Resy reserves the right to charge the remaining balance to the user who initiated the Resy Pay experience. By using Resy Pay and authorizing a payment, you agree to pay for the Order. You agree that you are responsible for all amounts owed by you and your dining party to the Restaurant.

Resy Pay is powered by Rooam and supported by other third-party vendors and service providers. Resy shares your information with Rooam in order to service your transactions through Resy Pay. The payment is processed by a third-party payment processor. Once the payment is processed, Resy will email you a receipt to the email address connected to your Account. If you would like a receipt but do not have an email connected to your Account, please enter your email when prompted after your payment is made.

Resy is not responsible for any disputes that you may have with Restaurants. Any Restaurant disputes, regarding payment or otherwise, should be addressed directly with the Restaurant. For support with the Resy platform, please email us at help@resy.com.
