Getting guests through the door starts well before they sit down at the table.
Maybe they read about your business while planning a trip. Maybe they’re scrolling for somewhere new to try on Friday night. Or maybe it’s 6 p.m., they’re hungry, and they need a spot that’s available right now.
There are more ways than ever for diners to decide where to eat. For Resy venues, that means more opportunities to get discovered, too.
We help connect restaurants, bars, and wineries with a network of users who are passionate about great hospitality, food, and wine: Resy has more than 60 million registered users globally.1 And these diners are exploring: In 2025, more than 86% of Resy users tried a Resy restaurant in the U.S. they hadn’t dined at before.2
Here are four ways we help venues on the Resy network reach guests and drive demand.
1. Getting Businesses in Front of Guests Through Resy Editorial Content
A great recommendation can be the start of a great night out. Resy Editorial, overseen by a team of seasoned journalists, introduces diners to hospitality venues through original stories, city and neighborhood guides, curated roundups, seasonal features, and recommendations that give guests new reasons, and new places, to dine.
That storytelling creates opportunities for businesses to reach diners before they’ve decided where to book. In 2025, more than 3,000 Resy partners were highlighted in Resy Editorial,3 helping put venues on the Resy network in front of guests and guests into seats.
2. Helping Diners Find Their Next Spot on the Resy App and Website
Across the Resy app and Resy.com, guests can explore restaurants by neighborhood, cuisine, availability, and more. They might be searching for a specific type of venue, looking for something new nearby, or simply browsing until something catches their eye.
The idea is simple: Make it easier for diners who are looking for a great restaurant to find one, and make it easier for that discovery to become a reservation.
3. Reaching Diners Through American Express
Resy and American Express feature hospitality businesses across campaigns, editorial collections, and curated content, reaching diners through channels including email, app, and social media. That gives Resy venues more opportunities to show up outside of the moment when someone is actively searching for a table.
And American Express® Card Members are a particularly engaged dining audience. On average, American Express Card Members make 3.8x more reservations on Resy than non-American Express Card Members.4
4. Giving Guests a Reason to Come Back
Getting a new diner through the door is one thing. Becoming a place they want to return to is another.
Once a guest makes that first reservation, Resy can help venues recognize guests and remember the details that make hospitality feel personal. And that can help operators do what they do best: build relationships that turn a first visit into a second, third, or tenth.
Resy guests are already coming back for more. More than 65% of Resy users have made multiple reservations on Resy.5
Driving demand isn’t only about finding the next new guest. It’s also about creating opportunities to welcome familiar ones back.
From Discovery to Demand
There isn’t just one moment when a diner discovers a restaurant anymore. It can happen while reading a guide, opening an email, browsing the Resy app, or looking for a table that very night.
For hospitality businesses, each of those moments is an opportunity.
By helping venues show up across the guest journey, from “Where should we go?” through booking and the visits that follow, Resy helps turn more of those moments into guests at the table.
